CharterLight Publishing

CharterLight Publishing exists to carry ideas forward, which only works if the people who wrote them keep the rights to their work. This page explains who owns what, and how to ask when you want to use something.
Each CharterLight book is the copyrighted work of its author. Reproducing, distributing, or adapting a book, in whole or in substantial part, requires written permission.
Buying a book gives you the right to read it, lend your copy, and quote briefly from it. It does not give you the right to republish it, record it, translate it, or sell copies of it.
The text, design, photographs, and illustrations on this site are owned by CharterLight Publishing or used with permission. Please do not reuse them without asking.
The CharterLight Publishing name and the lantern emblem are ours, and may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to something we are not.
Short quotations for reviews, articles, teaching, and commentary are welcome, with credit to the author and the book title. For anything longer, or for commercial use, write to us first. We are usually glad to say yes.
For permission requests, including translation and licensing, email [email protected] and tell us which book, which passage, and what you would like to do with it.
We take copyright seriously, including other people's. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email us with enough detail to identify the material and we will look into it promptly.
